Lockerbie, Brad Professor


He is the author of Do Voters Look to the Future? Economics and Elections published by SUNY Press. He is co-author (with Stephen A. Borrelli) of "A Question of War: Question Wording and Support for the War in Iraq" that was published in Social Science Quarterly. His most recent manuscript, Race and Religion: Voting Behavior and Political Attitudes, is also in Social Science Quarterly. He has written extensively on economics and politics, voting behavior, and public opinion polling. His work has appeared in the American Journal of Political Science, Political Research Quarterly, Public Opinion Quarterly, Public Choice, and many other journals and books.

Lockerbie's current research project focuses on the role of religion in American politics. He received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Georgia and a PhD from the University of Iowa.
