Ms. Riley has worked as a singer, vocal instructor, conductor and accompanist for over thirty years. She taught at Barton College, in public schools and private studios. She has performed as a soprano soloist with the Master Chorale and The Florida Orchestra, North Carolina Symphony, Greenville Choral Society, and ECU orchestra. She was founder and music director of the GCS Chamber Singers. She has performed with Robert Shaw, Fiora Contino, Jahja Ling, Julius Rudel, Margaret Hillis and Charles Dutoit at Carnegie Hall. A member of the National Association of Singing, she participates in workshops for the training of Music Theatre singers. At ECU she has coached and/or accompanied Music Man, My Fair Lady, and Smokey Joe’s Café. Ms. Riley has a MM in Vocal Performance from the University of South Florida.
