Jill has worked professionally as an actor and fight choreographer all over the United States. She is a Certified Teacher and Advanced/Actor Combatant with The Society of American Fight Directors, recognized in: Unarmed, Rapier & Dagger, Broadsword, Quarterstaff, Single Sword, Smallsword, Sword & Shield, and Knife. She is also a Full Instructor with Dueling Arts International. Jill has worked as an Entertainment Cast Member for Walt Disney World and co-founded the Odyssey Express Touring Theatre Company, whose goal was to bring quality theatre experiences to children in the Chicago-land area. Most recently she staged the violence for the world premieres of Chalk at the Chicago Cultural Center in Chicago and The Gray Ghost in Virginia. Favorite roles include: Mama Morton in Chicago; Antigone in Antigone; Mrs. Walker in Tommy; Amy in Company; Lindsay in Some Girl(s); Tigerlily/Nana in Peter Pan; The Herald in Marat/Sade; Jill in A Tribute to Shel; and Cinderella in Cindy’s Fella. Jill has a BS in Theatre Arts from Illinois State University and an MFA in Acting with a Movement concentration from Western Illinois University.
