Mooring, Casi Clinical Assistant Professor


Casi Mooring is a practicing physician assistant specializing in Nephrology and Internal Medicine. She has also had previous years of clinical experience in Behavioral Pediatrics and Psychiatry. She currently teaches Behavioral Medicine, aspects of Clinical Medicine, and aids with Emergency Medicine labs. In addition to her medical clinical practice, she continues her interest and love for clinical nutrition application in her career. She is a strong advocate for preventative care and healthy diet and lifestyle modifications. She previously taught Nutritional Biology for 4 years prior to her current didactic career. Casi has remained local to North Carolina, as she resided in Goldsboro throughout her childhood and now resides in Greenville. She is also recently married to a fellow Pirate, John, who serves the rural population as well as a Registered Dietitian.
